We often use Dead Sea Salts in our soaps as an exfoliant (These soaps will have SCRUB in the name or we will indicate it in the soap description).
Other recommended uses are:
For psoriasis treatment* - Dissolve approximately 1oz Dead Sea Salts into a warm bath and bathe for 20 minutes. Use 3-4 times a week for a period of 4 weeks for best results. Be careful not to bathe with water too hot as this will decrease the benefits. The general idea is to re-create the waters of the Dead Sea in your own bath tub.
Skin conditioning/relaxing/muscle soak - Add 1oz Dead Sea Salt & 1oz Lavender Epson salt to a hot bath and soak your worries away.
Foot soak - Add a handful of Dead Sea Salt to a foot bath. Massage for extra relief.
Removing dry skin - After bathing, while you're still wet, gently massage with dry salt - It removes dead skin particles and aids in circulation.
Make your own salt scrub - For a stimulating facial, mix equal parts of salt and olive oil and gently massage the face and body.
Body Wrap - Include as a layering product in a body wrap.
Facial - Mix 1/2 tsp. of Dead Sea Salts into cleansing cream (Like our Virtuous Woman Cucumber Cleansing Cream) for a deep-pore cleansing.
Conditioner - Mix with your favorite deep conditioner (Like our Moisture Rich Conditioner) to add body to your hair.
Steam therapy - Dissolve a handful of Dead Sea Salts into a bowl of steaming hot water, drape towel over head and around bowl, face should be 12 - 18 inches from surface of water, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Have a hot bath with Dead Sea Salts and allow the steam to collect in the bathroom will also have a similar effect.
Note: Always rinse treated area with fresh water after each Dead Sea salt usage.
*Psoriasis/Eczema Treatment - As with all therapy programs, please consult a physician before using.
